training in progress

I've been swatching for my vest over the past few days. After trying out cables and knit/purl patterns, I settled on this one. It lies flat, doesn't pull in, and works well with the yarn. The neckline is going to be pretty much like the one on the Fair Isle 101 Pullover in the winter 05 Interweave Knits, except not quite so wide. Next training task: working out measurements.

Pretty! I like the color!

My yarn came today - I need to wind and start swatching - which is in itself a new experience. I'm a baaaad knitter.
