Blocking!!!

I have oficially crossed the finish line! My Flower Basket Shawl is drying in the spare bedroom while DH and I have our Valentine's Day dinner. Here's a quick pic before I set the table... Isn't it GAWWWWGEOUS! I ended up doing two extra pattern repeats, and I'm so glad I made that decision. It measures 58" across, and 24" long. Perfect!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone, and keep those needles clicking!

Holy smokes! That was, like, record speed!

And it looks amazing - can't wait to see a modeled picture when it is dry.

100% Columbian coffee with International Delights french vanilla creamer, and an entire bottle of Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke! Caffeine does a knitter good :)

I figure I knit for 4 hours on Friday, 12 hours on Saturday, 8 hours on Sunday, and 10 hours on Monday. Tuesday I washed, soaked, and blocked, which took about 1 hour. So all together it was a 35 hour job!
